Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi dear,
first of all is total abstinence of alcohol.
then started thymine because thymine stores decreased due to alcoholism.
how you comes to know that he has alcohol induced dementia?
what are the signs and symptoms from where you think that?
consult psychiatrist for better treatment and counselling regarding alcohol stopping.
once he quit alcohol his memory improved.
So not to worry and motivate him to quit alcohol.
Thank you
