Need Treatment For Blood Clot Inside The Ear After Hitting The Head?

My daughter fell and hit her head hard but I didnt think it was anything too serious. I've put her to bed as normal and she had been very unsettled so I brought her in to bed with me and I've noticed blood inside her ear. She has a start of a cold at the moment also. Should I take her to a&e? I'm worried??

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best for her to be seen by a doctor. Though the blood in the ear may not be serious, it warrants a visit to a doctor to rule out any significant trauma.

The signs and symptoms that may indicate imaging is required are: headache, loss of consciousness, altered mental status, visible injury, vomiting, seizures.

I hope this helps
