My daughter s new born girl (1 month old) has a pig lump in her neck and it s hard. The doctor said it s a pinch nerve probably when she was born. The baby s head is always sideways leaning on the right, lump on the left side neck. Lump bigger than a golf ball. Baby girl 8 pds 4 oz. They send my daughter to see specialist, very easy baby, she drinks well every 2-3 hours about 2-3 oz each time and sleep well, she do not complain she cries when she needs to be fed, sometimes she has crams 10 min. she smiles. She doen t have any reaction when we touch the lump. The baby is now 9 pds 5 oz. The delivery had bit of issues, my daughter s contractions were long and long wait inbetween, they gave my daughter something to make her contractions shorter and faster. The baby was born with her head blue and blue spots on her forehead and gone after 10 days. Delivery the baby was verry weak not srong enough to cry to remove mucus in her troat, the doctor removed the mucus with sucion in delivery room. My daughter carried the baby very low and the placenta was in front not in the back. The baby s head was facing in the placenta the last months of her pregnancy. The doctors told her not to worry, but they will start the process now, she is waiting for apointment children hospital specialist and physiotherapy . Can we do something wile we wait, put hot blanket on her neck or something else, and do you think the baby will have some problem later on?
