New To Diabetes, Precautions I Will Need To Take ?

Friends I am very upset today as I was informed by my doctor that I had developed diabetes. I had heard the term several times but new to the disease in terms of the knowlede. No one in my family has ever had diabetes. Two days back I had went to my coorporate doctor for the routine examination with my colleagues. I really have no symptoms but my doctor says that there is no doubt that I have developed diabetes. My fasting blood sugar was found to be 280mg/dl. This is what my doctor informed me and I am really worried and scared. I request you guys to help me out in the problem and guide me how to deal with the disease. Is there any was out so that I can live my rest of life without having any medications. What all precautions I will need to take. I will appreciate a reply from you guys.

With a fasting blood glucose level of more than 200, you are most probably "a sweet person". the first and formost thing about diabetes is not to get depressed, because if that happens the disease takes control of you.
diabetes is mainly alifestyle disease, change ur habits- food habits, excersise and activity and definitely u will be able to get the disease under control. i have had a couple of patients who could get off drugs completely.
you must remember diabetes is a multifaceted disease and is influenced by not just what you eat. it also depends on your how you exercise, how you control your stress and of course how you eat
Do go in for regular blood sugar tests monthly, HbA1C every three months and other investigations like renal tests, eye exams and lipid profiles every year

u have been detected with Diabetes.
Three things will have a major impact on your blood glucose and blood lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides) levels

1)What you eat ,2)How much you eat . 3) When you eat .

By selecting the right types of foods, as well as appropriate quantities you can significantly improve your ability to control your blood glucose and blood lipids.

A person with diabetes has to have his/her blood glucose levels checked periodically. There is a blood test called the A1C which tells you what your average blood glucose levels were over a two-to-three month period.

Type 2 patients need to eat healthily, be physically active, and test their blood glucose. They may also need to take oral medication, and/or insulin to control blood glucose levels.

With such sugar levels, yes, you do have diabetes. It is treated by diet changes and medication both combined. Dont worry, your sugar levels will be controlled, only that you will need to follow medications to control it, and later with effective diet control, you may be able to stop taking tablets/insulin, and control sugars with dietary changes only. take it positively, you will be fine.

Hi, iam 22, iam having diabetes since when i was 9 years old. When i was young i was passing lot of urine, one day my parents got checked with a doctor, he suggested to do a blood test and it found that my sugars were very high, My parants were really upset. They asked the doctor why he has got sugar at this young age. Doctor told them that it is a type 1 diabetes and occurs in very young age. I was really upset and the doctor has put me on some injections daily. I need to take the injections daily, that also hurts me alot. Iam really fed up with this diabetes, it is really disgusting to have this disease, iam now 22 and still taking the injections, i need to carry the injections where ever i go. Iam now comfortable now and learnt to live with diabetes

DIABETES this word is irritating me from past 6 years..but finally i came to a conclussion that ..once u are a diabeteic we cannot do anything about that....but i came to know recently that diabetes is something related to genes and and if u have a family history of diabetes we will be more prone to diabetes...then i realised that as my dad is diabeteic..i got this from him....and my weight is 90 kgs aand height is 5.7...so this increased the risk of...getting diabetes......first thing we should do if we are diagnosed as diabetic is life style change that is change in diet...and regular physical exerscise to maintain ideal weight...and check up ur blood sugar regularly...and maintain it in normal level.....

Hi i 3 months before i had a complete health checkup, in that my sugars were on a higher side it was 204 mg/dl. local doctor said i have diabetes, but i am neither obese nor i have family history of diabetes, and even i dont eat more sugars, i was worried the doctor said you need to go for medications for life long. i was more worried now i went to another doctor he was MD physician he advised me 3 test. fasting sugars, after sugars, and urine sugars. all three tests were normal, so even i advice you to go for a proper testing and proper doctor. the physician advised me few diet and exercise tips. said no need of any medications. thank god

welcome to world of diabetes. you are diabetic there is no doubt in that. now relax and try to learn how to live with this disease for rest of your life. since 5 years i am married to this diabetes. i am happy seeing others eat sweets and food stuff what they want and me restricted to eat my breakfast in three instalments. keep eating those white white small round tablets regularly. give blood to doctors every three months and listen to them telling blood sugar is not controlled. you buy sweets and give it to others. keep seeing adds that say we have cure for the diabetes and keep dreaming that you will get cured

Without all the information necessary, I assume that you are a type 2 diabetic. This regularly happens when the person gets to 35 years or older. It means that the cells of the body are resisting the prompting of insulin, to absorb sugars to be stored for later. (insulin resistance)

It has been discovered that in the majority of cases, this type of diabetes is due to hydrogenated fats in the diet messing up the cellwalls. To correct this, eat NO more margarines and avoid soya oils as well. Use butter in small quantities and lots of green leafy vegetables. Consume most foods as close to the natural state, in which they grow,  as possible. Consume very little sugars for the next 12 months while adhering to the diet above.

To help the body to heal faster, use ganoderma products available from:

I have been helped with diabetic condition by these beverages and capsules. I believe they will help you too!!
