Newborn Baby With Difficulty In Adjusting To The Formula. Any Advice?

Hi. I have a 9 week old baby girl. Have had problems with her feeding since she was born. I have changed her formula 4 times as none of them were suiting her. On my gps advise she is now on enfamil ar. She is bringing it back up alot. Also about an hour after feeding she gets very upset and tightens her whole body.. She is gaining weight and thriving but very hard to settle her. Any advise

Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
Your child seems to have gastrocoloic relux due to which she is getting upset and stiffening her body.
I advise you to do the following :
Burp after each feeding
Hold the baby in upright position for 10 to 15 minutes after feeding
Give small quantity feeds more frequently.
And nothin to worry as she is gaining adequate weight and thriving normally.
Still you are facing problem, consult your Pediatrician for the advise.
