Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Usually a yeast infection or oral candidiasis presents with white plaques over the tongue or palate which when one tries to clean leaves a red sore tongue. When such infection happens babies have difficulty in feeding because of the pain. What i would advise is if he continues to have this swollen tongue that too only one sided get him re examined .
Bye
Take care.
