Hi,
Thanks for discussing your problem with us.
Small injuries to bladder may heal spontaneously by conservative management. If this fails surgery is required.
The thing which is bothering me is such a long wait for this natural healing.
I suggest you should take a second opinion on this issue from a local doctor.
Wish you good health.

General & Family Physician Dr. Albana Sejdini's  Response
Hi,

It all depends on the type and severity of the damage caused during the procedure.

If your doc. has decide for watchful waiting to see if it would be healed on its own, this might be because he/she has noticed a small damage causing leaking.

Although it is tough to get the catheter for months; you should be patient until the desired results would appear.

Unfortunately, every surgical intervention has its own risk of causing damages to the local organs or body parts when the operation is held. Nobody desires to get those risks, but, your bad fortune is to face such bad experience by following your doctor's advice.

Hoping fast recovery!
