Nipple Area Red, Swollen With Large Lump But Nothing Found In Ultrasound

My husbands nipple area is swollen,red and sore to the touch and when you feel the area you cam feel a large swollen lump he has had this two times beore over the last 5 years and had an ultrasound done , nothing was found His health is good and he never had any problems he is 49 years of age

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your husband has swollen inflamed nipple .

This is due to infection of the nipple and needs to be treated by antibiotics for one week.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotic like Augmentin along with anti inflammatory medicine Diclofenac twice daily.

This should get cured with this treatment.
