No Period Due To PCOS And High Prolactin. Will Carbophage Tablet Help?
Respected madam,I am recently married, my wife since 3 months no period and consulted a doctor.Scan Report says PCO problem and blood report says prolocatin content is slightly high. Doctor suggested to take Carbophage tablet. After 16 days their no further improvement for consuming tablet. Kindly give me suggestion?
Hello sir, you need to take the tablet a couple of months and even longer at times. PCOS can lead to irregularities in periods which is compounded by high prolactin. Keep taking the tablets and do a urine pregnancy test and if negative wait for periods.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you are told, the reasons for amenorrhea may be the anemia, and infection besides the P.C.O.S, and prolactin increase. These conditions are also to be corrected. And it may take more time for correction of the P.C.O.S. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms fluconazole, cifixime, ornidazole, and hematinics. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have good health and resistance. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
