Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Missed periods can occur due to many causes like :
- Pregnancy
-
Hormonal imbalance as in poly cystic ovary disease, weight changes, stress and strain etc.
-
Thyroid hormonal abnormalities.
- General conditions like anemia,
diabetes etc.
The spotting and tissue you had may be indicating onset of periods.
The tissue could be endometrial tissue, which usually sheds out during
menstruation.
So you wait and watch for few days, possibly by that time you will get periods.
If you you do not get periods even after one week, better to consult gynecologist once and get evaluated.
Then with her advice you can take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding.
If you do not want to
consult doctor, you can try methods like decreasing the weight, dietary modifications etc.
Possibly they may help to some extent in correcting the cycles.
Take care.
