No Relief From Synthroid. How To Avoid Hair Fall Problem, Dry Skin And Increasing Lump Below Neckline?
hello my doctor keeps changing my synthroid not getting my energy level back always tired sometimes nervous if i stand in one place avoid that dry skin hair falling i have a lump getting bigger right below neckline in front dont have next apt for couple weeks just wondering exactly where thyroid is how big it is
The thyroid gland is a butterfly shaped organ that is located in the front of the neck just below the adam apple. It is found in front of the trachea 2nd, 3rd and 4th cartilaginous spaces. Each side or lobe of the thyroid is normally 4 to 6 cm in length and 1.3 to 1.8 cm in thickness.
Low levels of thyroid hormone can cause hair loss , decreased energy and dry skin. These symptoms may indicate that your level of synthroid needs to be increased further.
Your doctor will check your thyroid hormone levels to see if this is the case.
I hope this helps
