Normal To Have Blood Clot Burst And Cramping After Vaginal Hysterectomy?

I had a vaginal hystorectomy on Dec 10 and was in ER for a blood clot burst on the 21. I am still having a little discharge and now I am cramping again. Nowhere near as bad but I m uncomfortable. Should I still be cramping? Oh and I was on an antibiotic for a week after ER trip.

Hello,

Post-hysterectomy cramps are possible. The cramps depend on the type of problem you have. Take good diet which should include fresh leafy vegetables , fruits and nuts etc with regular exercise. If problem persists then you may consult a gynaecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Fatima Clinic
