Not Having Normal Periods After Taking Cytotec During Pregnancy. Advised To Take Primolute N

Hi,

I was have two kids one is 4year and the little one is 8months old. I got pregnant again but me and my hubbby do not want more kids. I took Cytotec when i was 1 month pregnant. Now after a month I am still not having normal periods. I am not sure what to do. I do not want another child. A doctor advised me to take Primolute N for 10 days and then I can have normal periods. i am confused what to do. Please help

I assume that after your doctor gave you cytotec, that he or she has done an ultrasound or at least a pregnancy test to make sure you are no longer pregnant. If that hasn't been done, please make sure it gets done. Once you know for sure that the cytotec worked, it can take some time until your cycles return to normal, sometimes even two or three months. I hope you talked to your doctor about some form of contraception that you can take so you don't get pregnant again. The Primolute may help you get a cycle, but it won't stop you from getting pregnant again.
