Not Sexually Active. Had Cyst On Lower Labia, Painful To Touch, Pus And Blood Coming From Cyst
I am 43, not sexually active. I am prone to cyst about 1-2 a year. Over the last 20 years I've had a cyst on my lower labia that started pea like. Usually. It hurts for a few days and then I'm able to pop it. About a week and a half ago I I got one on the upper right labia minoria. It started small but grew to the size of a large marble. It was painfully to the touch. And as it grew in size it was hanging out of lvagina causing me some pain as I walk and sit. It was so painful that I made an appointment at the doctor, only it is a week away.! The cyst just burst and as usual blood and pus came out. Because the cyst was so large it still is somewhat swollen. I kept trying to squeeze the pus out but I don't think I got it all. Should I still go to the doctor or take care of it at home. How do I care for the cyst so it doesn't get worse
Hi, From history it seems that you might behaving infected Bartholin gland cyst. You may require complete excision of cyst with sac. Doing often antibiotic medicine course and improper drainage will givetemporary relief. This will give you complete relief from cyst. Ok and take care.
