General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

According to your description most likely you have an abscess under your arm. In this location it usually appears as a result of shaving. Due to infection, puss accumulates what leads to painful lump creation.
Such lump if left without medical attention can lead to serious infection. That is why I suggest you to consult surgeon as soon as possible. The lump should be incised and pus drained.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
