Noticed A Rubbery Type Discharge After Defecating

Hi, I am a 31 year old female living in London. After I defecated today I noticed a rubbery type discharge on the tissue after wiping my anus. Can you let me know why this has happened? This has happened before but is not a regular occurrence. I do not believe it comes from my vagina, although this is a possibility. thanks Nat

Hi,
Likely this is mucus in stools. Usually nothing to worry.
Can increase fibre supplements in your diet like salads, fruits and probiotics can be taken which are usually available over the counter.
Can take up an stool examination if symptoms persists.
