Noticed A Scab On Forehead Just Below The Hairline
I woke up one morning with an unexplained scab on my forehead, just below my hairline to the right of my widow s peak. I didn t think much of it and ignored it. Nearly a week later, after it had healed, more scabs appeared. This time it was in the same location in addition to the left side of my widows peak and below it, further down near the center of my forehead. I ve no ideal what s going on.
Scabs on forehead are caused commonly due to allergic skin, dermatitis, pruritus, psoriasis, shingles, dandruff or head lice. You are suggested to use medicated shampoo like Selsun, wash & shampoo regularly. Clean the scalp & apply coconut or almond oil in your scalp, hair & hair line. Do not let your scalp or hair line get dry you can apply petroleum jelly from time to time. Get clinically examined by a dermatologist. If it is due to skin conditions like dermatitis, psoriasis, pruritus then you will be accordingly treated. You may need medicines & STD tests done.
