Noticed A Strong Odour During Urination After Having An Hyterectomy
I had a hysterectomy done and the removal of my left ovary. My doctor wrapped a mesh around my bladder, vaginal wall, and my right ovary to keep endometriosis scar tissue from attaching my organs together. My surgery was done eight weeks ago and I still have a strong smell when I urinate. Is that normal or something I should be cocerned about?
Strong smell and colour of urine can be due to Dehydration so have plenty of water. If it till persist or white substance seen in urine have renal function test. It can be due to infection if there is fever or burning urination go for urine test. If there is vaginal discharge go for gynae examination. If there is blood in urine or pain abdomen seek for medical advice and investigation as can be due to kidney stone, rupture bladder etc.,>but usually it is normal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
