Noticed A Vein On Right Side Of The Forehead From The Hairline
I woke this morning and noticed a vein on my right side of forehead going down from the hairline to eyebrow. I ve never noticed this vein before. It doesn t pulse or tingle. But my head does. Or rather there is a creeping sensation and slight pressure but not headachy. A bit itchy. I DID bang my head, several days ago, getting out of the car and caught the right side of my head on a heavy door. Should I be worried?
Hello, Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.
It is possible that the injury is causing a release of histamine in you. You can start by taking tablet Cetirizine 10 mg once a night to help you. If the itching does not stop after 2 days, then please see a Doctor right away. There is a possibility, then, that the headache is caused by something else which is causing the histamine level to keep increasing. All the best and wish you a quick recovery.
Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further. Dr Vignan
