Noticed Pulse Irregularities. Hypertensive And Diabetic, Taking Medication For The Same. Is This Normal?
Low energy BP = around 150 over 60 pulse 50-54 , These are my readings tonight, I am concerned about my pulse, its been like this for about 2 months
My BP normal is 130-140 - 150 over 80-85-90 pulse 80-85-90
I have been taking the following pills for about 10 years 1 blood pressure pill per day 2 sugar pill per day 1 colestrol per day

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Badycardia in your condition needs to be evaluated. You need to get few tests done for it, Serum electrolyte levels, as electrolyte abnormality can result in reduced heart rate. ECG to know rhythm of heart rate, Thyroid function test. Consult your physician for physical examination and further management. Treatment in your condition is not needed unless you becomes symptomatic. Some hypertension medication do cause reduction in heart rate. Need not to worry, get examined by your doctor.
