Hello and welcome to HCM,
I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
I understand the query.
This is seen in a few women undergoing the surgery.
Bleeding after surgery may occur as a reaction to suture material, bleeding from the margin of vaginal stitches or very rarely an infection.
As of now, just observe the bleeding. If it increases and wets your undergarments or it has a bad odor, then it is advisable to take drugs to stop bleeding like
tranexamic acid or ethamsylate and if there is an infection then antibiotics may be needed. These can be taken after prescription from your doctor.
It is not advisable to lift heavy weight until 6 weeks post surgery. So try to avoid this if it is possible.
Do not worry. It will stop.
Hope this was helpful.
Feel free to ask any further queries and I will be happy to help.
Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.
