Numbness In Both Hands, Headache, Chest Pressure. Scan Done. Suggestions?
I have been having numbness in both hands, headache over my left eye and chest pressure that comes ans goes..I had an echo in June, I just went and got the report and the impression says type 1 diastolic dysfunction with trace mitral ans mild tricuspid regurgitation noted.. what does this mean and could this have anything to do with one another..I don't want to go to hospital and I don't know if I should b worried.. I also have a bulged disk at the c6 and I am post op (July) t12-l3..postier fusion
HI Thank for asking to HCM Look you have two different condition at time and that is not related with each other , now lets talk about the orthopedic condition, the numbness in hand may due to cervical spine problem, for this you need to go for x-ray study of cervical spine, now for the cardiac condition, the echo report is suggestive of mitral valve and tricuspid valve pathology (Lesions) regurgitation means back flow of blood from the valve opening, if you are scaring to this then it wont work, you will have to face the problem, and need treatment, every thing will be alright, have nice day
