Numbness On Lower Portion Of Patellar Tendon And Burning Sensation After Falling. Is This Bruise Or Partial Tear?
Yes, about a week ago I fell while hiking and landed on my knee. I have numbness on the lower portion of my patellar tendon and a sharp burning sensation at the point of impact when I touch the impact spot. I have complete mobility and I only fell a little bit of pain. How can I determine whether this is a bruise or a partial tear?
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be a bruise, still it is always better to exclude the internal injury. Si i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have M.R.I.for diagnosis . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, ofloxacin, and antiinflamatories. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomat, egg, chicken, and sea foods till you get complete relief. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery
