On Amitriptylin After New Hip, Now Tramadol. Can You Gain Weight From Tramadol ?

Can you gain weight from tramadol? I've been on amitriptylin 100mg for a long time even before starting tramadol. I had a new hip over a year ago, still have pain plus shots down my spine, in the groin area (2) and (1) in my knee. I still have groin pain and knee pain an I still limp. I just want to cry because I still limp. Any suggestions. Would appreciate your response.

Hello. The most common side effects of Tramadol are nausea, dizziness and constipation (mild). Their continued use not cause changes in weight.
I understand your situation. You still have pain, limp, and feel weak and that affects their psychic status.Quiet.The recovery from hip surgery is slow.
Gradually will diminish their pain, limp ,and your psychic status will be better.
¿Are you eating and sleeping well?. Your physician can help if it is not.
I wish you good health.
