On And Off Pinching, Squeezing Pain Under The Rib Cage Which Becomes Worse As The Day Progresses. History Of Gastritis. Suggest
I have intermittent pinching pain along the bottom of my rib cage that gravitates from the left to the right and into the small of the back. It seems to be better when I get up in the morning but gets progressively worse as the day goes on. Sometimes it feels like it is just under the skin and other times it feels like it is under the ribs.
There is no sharp paid upon moving or breathing, but it can also feel like pressure or squeezing right along the bottom of my rib cage. I have has an ongoing problem with gastritis
With this description many diagnosis other than gastritis may be there, eg pancreatitis, GB stone etc. you may also go for tests like liver function tests, Serum amylase, lipase levels. I would also like to know about status of tobacco products and alcohol consumption. It will be better to consult a gastroenterology, before you go somewhere else.
