On Bladder Infection Treatment. Does Smoking Cannabis Make UTI Affected?
If I happen to smoke marijuana during treatment for a bladder infection/UTI will the smoke affect or worsen my diagnosis? I began treatment 4 days ago and all of my symptoms of a UTI are completely gone, I am urinating normally and there is no pain or discomfort. I know i have to maintain the treatment for the next 6 days and I am doing so, I was just wondering if smoking cannabis would make my UTI resurface.
Regular use of cannabis is known to reduce the body's ability to fight infections. Smoking cannabis now may not directly cause the present episode of urinary tract infection to resurface, but in the long run, it can definitely reduce your immunity and make you vulnerable to having urinary tract infection again. Please continue your medicines as directed and also drink lots of water.
Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
