On Medication For BP And Cholesterol. On No Wheat Diet, Weightloss, Low Pulse Rate, Lightheaded. Possible Brachycardia?

I am a 63 year old male who has taken blood pressure and cholestrerol medication for many years. Over the past year I have cut wheat from my diet and have lost 30+ lbs. I am 6' tall and now weigh 195 lbs. my blood pressure is in the normal range and sometimes dips down to 108/61 or thereabouts. My pulse rate is in the low 50s (today it was 49). I swim and walk but do not overly exercise. Sometimes I find I am light headed. Are these ranges normal or could I possibly have brachycardia and should I be concerned?

Hi, Thanks for calling Health care magic forum.
You are using medication for hypertension and cholesterol since long ,so present symtoms may not have relation to those medicines.
B.P is usually normal but some times low B.P. It could be postural hypotension, or dizzy ness due to some cause like anemia, gastric irritation etc. Or the B.p medicine might became over dose due to age factor.
You have stopped taking wheat, so you have developed some gastric issue like intolarance of the gluten containing foods . In such condition there is a possibility of intolarance of milk and its products, so try to avoid these also.
Any how i advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
