On Ortho Tri Cyclen, Missed Pills, Periods Came Early, Pain In Back, Ovary, Stomach Tender. Pregnancy Symptoms?

Hi I have had some strange symptoms the past few days and am wondering if it could be early signs of pregnancy...I am on ortho tri cyclen lo and missed the last 4 pills before my reminder pills which caused my period to come early although it was regular it is about a week after I started my new pack of pills and I am having dull lower back pain in the lower middle part of my back some sharp ovary pain and my stomach feels tender and like I have indigestion not sure what it could be

Hi,
Since you missed four pills in a row, your cycle was unprotected; yet, since you had a period, pregnancy may be ruled out. The cause of the early period is most likely the early withdrawal. In the current scenario, you should get a trans-vaginal/pelvic sonogram and see a gynecologist for a local exam to know the cause of the discomfort. You may exclude/confirm pregnancy through the blood pregnancy test. You may also need blood counts and urinalysis. Hope you find this information helpful. Wish you good health.
