On Treatment For A Urinary Tract Infection. Prescribed Suprax. Having Pressure On Bladder. Suggestions?
I am currently being treated for a urinary tract infection and prescribed Apo-Sulfatrim DS 800&160. This infection has been relapsing for over two months. I have been prescirbed Suprax, the above mentioned and cipro 500 mg, but I still have a lot of pressure and it feels like someone is squeezing or sitting on my bladder . I do not have pain or frequent urination , just a lot of pressure. Could you please help?
It seems like your urinary tract infection is being adequately treated with the right kinds on antibiotics. I hope you are also following up with plenty of fluids. I am thinking that you should feel better by the time you are done with your course of antibiotics. Please get a culture sensitivity done on your urine sample to get on the right kind of antibiotic. Please consult a physician for more directions.
I hope this helps, take care and have a lovely day !
Hi
Welcome tho the forum.
Phenazopyridine ( AZO in the USA) or flavoxate should help.
Plenty of oral fluids, cranberry juice will also help.
Best regards
