On Xanax For Anxiety. Experiencing Constant Hard Heart Beat. Is There Any Risks?
Hi I have been experiencing a constant hard beating heart beat. I can feel it at alltimes and it keeps me up at night. my resting heart rate is 95 and I take xanax for anxiety but my heart is like this with or without the medicine at all times of the day. Am at risk Im a male that is 24 and about 180-195 pounds and I m 5 7

If you are taking Xanax under supervision. Your doctor must examined you and would have excluded possibility of hyperactive thyroid and other diseases. There is no harm in taking it for a brief period (as prescribed) and after that report back to the doctor for follow up. Hear rate in a person with anxiety can be a bit on higher side and that should not make you worried. Hard heart beat is a perception and when you do not have heart disease you should not worry about this either. Good Luck.
