One Year Old Having Abdominal Cramps, Constipation. Taking Cameffrin. Immediate Cure?
My 1yr old son is passing very little and very hard stool since last 4 days and is also suffering with stomach cramp .We consultaled our family physican as he recomended cameffrin (5ml) to soften the stool, but nothing is helping the cramp please recomend some home remedy or some tips for immediate action. Hard stools can be very annoying and Cremaffin will take time to act. I suggest that you insert Dulcolax Child Suppository in the anal canal or arrange to give an enema to the child to remove the hard stools. Once the hard stools are evacuated the child should get relief from the abdominal cramps.
In the longer run you need to ensure a proper diet modification for your son so that he does not get constipated. You will have to increase roughage in his diet. You may like to follow the link http://www.vardaan.net/hl-chfd.php where I have written in detail about constipation and high fibre diet.
