Open Sore Inside Nose After Using CPAP Machine For Bad Cold
Hello, I had a bad cold and also use a cpap machine. I ended up with an open sore inside of my nose. It s been over a week and the sore is still open and bleeds a little. In addition, I started having a strange sensation on the roof of my mouth last night; kind of burning, strange. I am wondering if I may be having a reaction to the Lyrica or Cymbalta I am taking for fibromyalgia..
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain in abdomen . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are due to side effects of using CPAP . sometimes CPAP cause infection in upper respiratory track or in nose if no cleaned properly . Most of the times people don't use humidifier with CPAP which further cause extreme dryness of mucosa and make it prone to infection . I would suggest you to go to their office and get it cleaned properly and get its filter change , also apply humidifier with it , do warm saline nasal rinses and if condition persist then consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics for atleast 5 days .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
