Overweight, LDL 133, Glucose 129, Cholesterol 175. Recommendations?

Hi here are my results from a recent check on my cholesterol, etc. total cholesterol was 175,
LDL as 113, triglycerides were 160 and glucose 129. I am trying to keep from having diabetes.
eating low carbs , avoiding pasta, white potatoes, etc. I'm walking 3 miles a day. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you. I'm female, age 62. 20lbs overweight.

Hello,

The lipid profile and blood sugar value is quite normal for your age. Continue on with exercise and diet. Due to overweight and advancing age you have a risk of developing type II diabetes. Gradual weight loss will help in lowering the insulin resistance and pervent diabetes.
