PCOS, Trying To Conceive, Follicle Not Growing Beyond 5mm. Oosure+, Clomiphene Advised. Solution?
hi, I am PCOS sufferer from past 17 years, now i am 30 years. I have been through extensive medication throughout the long tenure of 15-17 years. Now i want to conceive, My doctor has advised me oosure+, and clomiphene 50 mg (5 days course, 10 tablets). I have done 2 cycles with this, But follicle is not growing beyond 5 mm in both the ovaries. My hormonal tests are all positive, ie within the normal range. Now doctor has increased the clomiphene dose from daily 100 mg to daily 200 mg. Will it work? And if it doesnt work, what are the other options available. My weight is 86 kg, height 5 feet. My cycles have been abnormal from very beginning. Periods will be absent till 4 months, and than it used to heavily bleed for more than one month. Now i am very desperate for my own kids. I prefer medication, than the other modern techniques. Please guide me.

Treatment of PCOS is very tricky and it takes long time to achieve the goal.
But one thing is sure that if you are persistent and disciplined in your efforts,you shall definitely achieve success,although timing can't be predicted.
Treatment involves...
You can try a maximum dose of 250 mg of clomiphene and if you are unsuccessful with this dose then go for serum prolactin test as hyperprolactemia hampers the ovulation.
Other methods employed are..
Intensive aerobic exercises for 45 minutes to 1 hour a day.
It is said that a mere reduce piton of 10% of your weight shall induce ovulation.
You are already very overweight.
Take tablet METFORMIN 500 mg twice a day as it helps nott only in reduction of weight but also decreases insulin resistance which is the cause for absense of ovulation.Talk to your doctor regarding this.
