Pacemaker Placed After TIA. Having Chronic Kidney Impairment. Eliquis Or Warfarin Is Better?

my dad is 96! he recently had a tia but has no effects and is home after a pacemaker procedure. because he is still active ( bowls , drives, lives alone etc.) the doc put him on eliquis 2.5 dosage 2x a day. however he does have chronic kidney impairment as well.
will the eliquis make this worse?
is warfarin better for kidney impaired patients?
thank you!

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Looking to age of your father, if he is doing well then keep away him from the unwanted medicine, he can only be given very necessary medicine, otherwise the good nursing care would be the best medicine for him, warfarin will not cause any harm in renal patient if does not have any history of haematuria, take care of your father, have nice day.
