Pain Along Side Of Foot Followed By Tan, Difficulty In Walking, Swelling Around Ankle And Top Of Foot. Suggestion?
My husband started to have pain along the side of his one foot . Pain started Friday after walking all day at work. Saturday we noticed the top of his foot seemed tan in the morning pain is maybe a level one when not moving it. Slight pain in moving foot without pressure and severe pain with weight of walking. Foot also appears slightly swollen around ankle and top of foot. This evening when applying some warming pain relieving cream the area that appeared tan is now blotchy red.

it seems like an arthritis or may also be an infection like cellulitis.
i suggest you see a rheumatologist who can make a proper diagnosis, he may take an anti inflammatory medicine in the mean time.
