Pain And Discomfort In The Vagina After Intercourse. Reason?
It has been about 2 months since the last time I had intercourse, always protected. However, I often feel pain or discomfort on the outter part of my vagina. I often wondered if my pants or underwear were too tight , but I know that wasnt the case. It does not burn when I urinate. However, it is uncomfortable an painful to even wear underwear and pants, and it seems as though when the pubic hair grows back it hurts that area as well.
Hello, I assume that you don’t have burning and itching in the vagina. So majority common infectious conditions may be ruled out, UTI can also be ruled out as you are not burning while urination. Excluding vaginal infection and UTI, the probable causes are 1) Intercourse without vaginal lubrication 2) Ovarian cyst, Fibroid uterus or endometriosis 3) Muscle spasm in the outer opening of the vagina 4) Emotional You need a physical examination,PAP smear study and USG of reproductive organs. With this a probable diagnosis can be arrived and treated accordingly Best wishes
