I have to apply silverex twice a day, do i need to clean the burns before applying silverex. If yes with what? Please advice
hello and welcome to HCM 1. your hand burn must have been severe ,probably a second degre burn(redness, blistering & pain). silverex itself has an antibiotic component so ares will not need much cleaning 2.if there is lot of discharge ,collection of ooze, apply silverex ,cover with dry sterile gauze(not cotton) and remove gently.Reapply cream. This will keep the area clean. 3.if you want to avoid contact of wound with anything, keep the gauze on.with every coat keep a new gauze. 4.you will get gauze sheet over the counter at at any pharmacy
