Pain Back Under Shoulder Blade, Worsens When Lying Down, Indigestion, Constipation
I have had pain in my back midway on lift side under shoulder blade. It's been going on for 3 days, It is worse when I lie down. I also have indigestion and constipation, What could be wrong with my back? I am a 61 year female at 5 ft and weighing 154 lbs. I have always had big breasts wearing 38DD bra, Would a breast reduction be medically necessary? Thanks for your time.
Welcome to HCM. Pain below shoulder most likely due to musculo scalatal pain. It usually occurs after improper position in sleeping, working, weight bearing. Take oral nsaid with muscle relaxant. If it is severe than go for intra muscular nsaid injections.Local application of nsaid gel will be helpful. Calcium,b12 supplement will be helpful at this age. Also rule out any cardiac involvement by blood pressure measuring, ecg and echo under guidance of your physician. Take isabgool for constipation. Wear good supportive bra and consult surgeon for breast. Regular exercise and yoga will be helpful.
