Pain Below Breast, Numbness. Why Does This Happen?
Hi my name is Nick and I am 24. I have had pain just below my left breast. The pain usually comes when I'm at work. I am and STNA going for my RN. The pain usually goes away after I sit down and rest for a little bit. When I'm sitting the pain never comes. There is a little numbness feeling when I wake up in the morning? It has been going on for about 6 months.
Welcome to HCM>Pain and numbness in the breast is most commonly secondary to musculoskeletal causes.Intercostyal muscle spasm, rib strain, localised tenderness secondary to fibromyalgia may be the cause.Though cardiac diseases must be ruled out by investigations like a ECG and CPK-MB ,it would not be a routine cause at your age.Anxiety and stress may also cause such pains.Ruling out myalgia and arthritis as also connective tissue disorders by your doctor will help.
