Pain Below The Throat. Congestion Between Clavicles And Sternum. Pain In The Ear And Throat Upon Screaming. Serious?
A year ago I went to the doctor because of a pain below my throat and I could feel something between both clavicles and the upper of the sternum that I could not in the past. Doctor said it was my Cricoid Cartilage and said it was nothing, but till this day it hurts almost like a sore throat, especially if I scream, which then causes me ear pain. Is this something serious or not?
Hi, As this problem has gone on for a year now, it would be worth consulting an ENT doctor. It is impossible to say at this stage whether it is something serious but from what you describe it may be related to your vocal cords and the ENT doctor would be able to examine your vocal cords if necessary. I hope this advice has been helpful.
