Pain Between Shoulder Blades, Sore Back. History Of Broken Lower Back, Fused Vertebrae

Two days ago I was exiting my truck and I got a sharp pain in my back between my shoulder blades. The pain so strong it took my breath away. My back is still sore in that area. I broke my lower back in 2011 and three vertibrae were fused together. I also have blood pressure that is about 152/98 last time I checked. I am 56 years old 5' 9" and weigh 230lbs

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
Most probably the pain could be due to muscle twitch, as the deed is a strenuous. Other causes could be the cardiac ischemia. As the B,P could have increased during the strenuous work.
Any how it is always better to consult a physician as early as possible for diagnosis and treatment. Always try to keep the B.P under control .
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
