Pain, Breathlessness. Due To Extreme Temperature Change?
On Saturday night after getting out of my friend s hot tub, I went in the bathroom to change and was experiencing pain all over and shortness of breath. I am a 43 yr old female with no known health problems, but I smoke about a pack of cigarettes a day. I had been sitting near the hot tub s strongest jet and letting it beat my calf and back muscles etc. Prior to this time, I had not been in a hot tub for about 7 or 8 months. It was cold outside so the tub seemed hotter than usual and I stayed in for only about 12-15 minutes. Prior to getting in the tub I had 2 beers. Could the extreme temperature change had something to do with it? Did I have a stroke? Did the alcohol dehydrate me and cause my pain?

sudden change of temperature defiantly produce bronchospam but it is more prominent in individual who are having respiratory problem ( like bronchial asthma or chronic bronchitis). As you mentioned that you are smoker and alcoholic than you have get pulmonary and cardiologist opinion.
