Pain In Ear When Speaking Over The Phone For More Than 10 Minutes, On And Off Vertigo, Buzzing Sound In Ears. Suggestions?

Hi Dr. Bhatti,

I get pain inside my ear when I talk on my mobile phone for more than 10 mints. It keeps paining for a while after I have completed my call. What do I need to do for this besides limiting my calls from mobile? Will it help if I use mobile headset or ear phones? Do I need to take any tests or treatment for my ears to cure this problem? I sometimes get vertigo problem which gets cured by itself after some time. Also sometimes I hear buzzing sound in my ears. kindly advise for the same.

Thanks.

high frequency waves of mobile cause slow trauma to ervesand system leading t heat an it cause damage to nerve which can cause decraed hearing
even if the mobile is in the room switched on same effect occurs
ue to damage the buzzing occus
need to stop completely and switch to landline
and get audiometery test to know the extent of damage and after take relavent precautions to stop the damage

ENT Specialist Dr. Hariom Sharma's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for contacting Health Care Magic
As you have pain inside ear while talking on mobile, vertigo, buzzing sound in ear, for this you need to consult the ENT specialist for the clinical ear examinations and investigations such as Pure tone audiometry to rule out conductive or sensorineural hearing loss, blood sugar for diabetes, Hb% for anemia, ear examination for any wax or otitis media.
Not so much help by using mobile headset or ear phones.
thanks
