Pain In Knees. Something Pulled Inside While Walking Also Nail Stabbed In Feet. Can They Cause Knee Pain?

Hello
I am a male just turned 50 and my knees have been getting progressively worse, pain while getting up from kneeling,I am in the construction trades have been for 30 years and have not had any issue till recently.
I did pull something on the inside of my left knee 2 months back while moving to another residence and also managed to stab a nail into the side of my right foot around the same time that did seem to take a little longer to heal than what is usual for me.
Could any of those two injuries cause the pain I am having in both knees.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I do not think any of two injuries caused your knee problem as your both knee joints are affected.
It seems that at this age you might be having degenerative changes in your knee joints giving rise osteo-artheritis of knee joints.
Go for x-ray knee joint.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Do patellar exercise.
Avoid squatting position and do not bend your knees more than 90 degree.
Ok and take care.
