Pain In Left Leg While Standing. Undergone Osteomylitis Surgery. Recommendations?

Hello, I am having pain when i stand or walk in my left leg. It feels like pain in my tibia. I just went through Osteomylitis surgery with a bone graft last April. All in all i had 5 surgeries in five months. I was off work 6 months. I have been back to work about one month and now i am having leg pain again. I am starting to worry. I have called my surgeon and left a message.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Your pain in the leg after being treated for osteomyelitis could be due to reactivation of infection in the bone.

A few blood investigations, xrays of the bone and possibly a radio isotope scan will help in establishing the cause.

I suggest you to consult your treating doctor and discuss the issues.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
