Pain In Left Side Of Chest, Heavy Feeling In Left Arm, Prickly Hot Flush. Underlying Cause?

Hello Dr, I am experiencing a dull pain, to sometimes excruciating pain in the left of my chest, this continues up into left shoulder and down arm. Left arm feels absolutely usless after this pain subsides, and has has a heavy feeling. I also get like a prickly hot flush at this time, and feel so drained and stressed by all of this. What so you think could be triggering all of this, and what should I be doing.

It would be better if you would have mentioned your age and comorbidities.
However as your pain is excrucuiating and associated with a pain in the shoulder and arm, it would be much better to rule out any cardiac diseases first.
Get a chest xray and an ECG to rule this out.
Also get a cervical spine xray as the same symptoms can be due to a nerve getting compressed at the shoulder level.
