Pain In Left Thumb, Difficulty To Do Any Work Without Constant Pain. No Help From Aleve And Voltaren Topical Cream. Thoughts?

i have been having pain in my left thumb. i can't wash my hands without that thumb being in severe pain. i can't grasp a glass or pull my seatbelt to click it. it catches like a muscle spasm, but is in constant pain, I've noticed aleve isn't helping, i've used voltaren topical cream and it hasn't helped. any thoughts???

Hi, it appears to be the arthritis of the metacarpo phalangeal joint, or inter phalangeal joints, or may be the pressure symptom on the radial nerve.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon, for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have M.R.I.of the thumb, and neck.
I prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days. ofloxacin, acyclofenac sodium, and paracetamol.
