Pain In Lower Ribcage, Shooting Pain In The Heart. Blood And Heart Pressure Are Good. Problem?

Question
I have a slight pain in the lower ribcage and a shooting pain every now and then in the heart area at no particular time of day or night, just on and off.
I saw my GP who said that my heart and blood pressure were fine.
I'm still getting pains; what do you suggest I do?

     You have not stated your personal habits, family history, or co-morbidities, even age, gender...which could have an influence on the diagnosis and outcome... The description of pain too is not adequate – the character, aggravating and relieving factors and so on...
     The features do not point to cardiac causes / Most likely Anxiety, Muscle spasm, Spine and so on... However, heart disease must be excluded first, before others / You ought to see a cardiologist – get examined; get investigated...EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
