Pain In Lower Right Abdomen. Taking Doxycycline Metronidazole For Uterus Infection, Frequent Urination. Side Effect Of Medicine?

Hi. I am a 35 year old woman and have seen the dr for pains in lower right abdomen. The dr thinks I may have a uterus infection and gave me doxycycline and metronidazole. I have taken for 24 hours. All of a sudden i have frequent urination. My urine tests were all normal. Is this a side effect of the drugs or something else?

Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

As per your given clinical data- doxy or metronidazole doesnt cause any increased urination.Instaed doxy decreases any infection in your urine.
I would suggest you to get ultrasound pelvis and urine analysis for better understanding your problem.

regards,
Dr.SIVAYOGI
